What is a Career Carer ?

What it is NOT is a Nurse. She might have worked as a nurse in another country but is unlikely to be in WA a Registered Nurse.

This means that a Career Carer is NOT responsible  for health of their client.

Career Carers may have completed courses in 1st Aid,  Age Care Certificate III or IV  etc., or just be experienced in caring of and looking after the comfort of the elderly.
 





A Career Carer is a non accredited age care worker whose income is derived directly from the person that they are caring for, or family members who care for their elderly, rather than from any Government(s) programs that are run  by Charities or not-for-profit organizations. 

Career Carers are Self employed as an aged care business proprietor or as a sub- contractor or an employee of Private Aged Care.

Career carers are fully insured against  any accidental damage to your property.
